Facial exercises to tone and firm your face

Proper nutrition, good clean living and proper skin care can all go a long way in helping your face remain taunt, toned and tight; thus giving you a more youthful appearance. You can also incorporate some facial exercises into your daily routine to further help in tightening and toning your face.

For the eye area, you can raise and lower your eyebrows a few times each morning and evening to help make the skin around your eyes stays tight and toned. You can also open your eyes and mouth widely at the same time to tighten all of the muscles located between the eyes and mouth.

The mouth area is another one that is prone to developing fine lines and wrinkles due to poor skin tone. You can open and close your mouth as wide as possible repeatedly to stretch and tighten the muscles around your mouth. One additional move to use is shifting your lower lip and jaw from side to side; as this tones the muscles located on the lower portion of your face.

You also need to pay attention to your neck, as the skin under your chin can sag and make your whole face look older and drawn out. Neck and whole face exercises involve turning your head from side to side and up and down repeatedly as you can feel the muscles moving and being worked as you make such movement.

Repeated and consistent use of such facial exercises can go a long way in helping to give your skin a tight and toned appearance and bring about a more youthful look.
