Injectables: BOTOX Lip Flip & Dermal Fillers
If you’ve ever looked into a lip treatment, you’ve likely considered injectables to reshape or enhance your lips. Most often, dermal fillers are used for volume and shaping. BOTOX is also used for subtle enhancement (BOTOX Lip Flip).
Dermal fillers use hyaluronic acid (HA), a natural water magnet which draws moisture to the area, moisturizing and adding volume. As we age, HA breaks down. This contributes to lost volume and thinning lips. By introducing HA to the area, we add immediate volume and contouring, with long-term results.
Fillers often used for lips include various formulations developed for the Juvederm and Restylane collections, among others:

Microneedling
Also known as Collagen Induction Therapy, microneedling stimulates the body’s natural healing process using tiny skin punctures. This breaks up scar tissue while activating:

When applied to and around the lips, we can reduce lines and enhance fullness naturally.
In some cases, we can also include platelet-rich plasma (PRP) and/or RF-microneedling (radiofrequency skin tightening), which can offer even better results.

Laser Skin Resurfacing
Scars and fine lines can cause thinning or misshapen lips. Laser skin treatments like Fraxel can correct this, improving lip shape and enhancing fullness. Lasers like Fraxel target skin imperfections to gradually replace damaged skin with fresh, healthy-looking skin while stimulating collagen and elastin growth, resulting in younger, vibrant skin.

Skin Tightening Treatments
Depending on the effects aging has had on your lips, we may also recommend skin tightening using RF-microneedling (see above) or Thermage, radiofrequency skin tightening (minus microneedling).
Thermage lifts and tightens skin while stimulating collagen and elastin production, smoothing lines and addressing skin sagging. It’s a great in combination with Fraxel — which we call ThermaFrax — offering exceptional anti-aging and rejuvenating results.
Fillers and BOTOX may also be used following a Thermage treatment or ThermaFrax treatment series to complete your transformation.
