Something as simple as breathing can help enhance a mood. Breathing is something that is done to live, but it is also beneficial for the spirit. So many people have to deal with the stresses of every day life. Many people around the world have anxiety issues and feel on edge all of the time. Learning some breathing techniques could actually help.
One technique that is great for clearing the mind of any negativity is the simple inhale and exhale routine. A person can lay down, or stand up, and place one hand on their chest and one hand on their abdomen. The next step is to take a deep breath through the nose and raise the hand on the abdomen as high as it will go. It is important to not let the hand on the chest area move. This routine can be done for two minutes a day for optimum results.
A stress relieving breathing exercise consists of the person standing and breathing in while placing their arms straight in front of them. They will then clench their fists and bring them in towards their shoulders. The hands must be tightly clenched as the person then extends their arms back out with the next inhale.
A stimulating breathing exercise includes breathing rapidly through the nose three times. After this, the person must breathe in a normal pattern. Beginners should do this for no more than 15 seconds, and can gradually work up to doing it for longer.
Breathing can help cleanse the soul of negativity. When this is done, the body will feel more energized, happy and healthy.
