Why Choose Silhouette Instalift by Thermi?

What to Expect from a Silhouette Instalift at Ultra Smooth Skin

When you visit one of Ultra Smooth Skin's three convenient locations in the Phoenix area, you can expect to receive high-quality care and superior results from our medically-licensed and expertly trained aesthetic providers. Our team has years of experience in facial anti-aging and an expert understanding of facial anatomy.

The Instalift Consultation

During your consultation, we will assess your facial anatomy and listen to your concerns about facial aging. We will discuss your desired results and determine if those results would be best addressed using Silhouette Instalift or a different non-surgical cosmetic procedure, such as Botox, dermal fillers, or skin tightening. We will also give you a health examination and evaluate your medical history to ensure you're a good candidate for treatment.

The Instalift Procedure

If we determine that Silhouette Instalift is right for you, we will proceed with treatment. After numbing the area, we will insert biodegradable sutures in the desired treatment area. These sutures will gently lift and tighten the skin, giving you a more youthful appearance.

Silhouette Instalift Results and Follow-up Treatments

Results from Instalift are immediately noticeable in many patients, though full results appear later after post-procedure swelling has subsided. Tissue plumping can be noticeable in as little as 30 days following treatment. Your face lifting results will last up to 18 months. After the procedure, you will be scheduled for a follow-up to ensure you are responding well to treatment and seeing your desired result.

Silhouette Instalift FAQ

It's important to discuss any procedure with a licensed provider during a consultation. This will allow you to ask questions related to your specific needs and understand how the procedure will affect you as an individual. However, while you await your appointment at Ultra Smooth Skin, this list of FAQs will help you get started.

How does Silhouette Instalift work?

Using sutures similar to the stitches used by doctors to close wounds, the skin is gently lifted and tightened. As the sutures are biodegradable, they are kept in place to maintain long-term results. While the suture is in place, it also stimulates collagen production beneath the skin, providing a plumping effect beneath the skin. This means that the treatment gives you both lifting and youthful volume. The treatment itself only takes about 45 minutes to perform, and results last up to 18 months.

Why should I choose Ultra Smooth Skin for Silhouette Instalift?

Founder and medical director Lisa Williams is a Certified Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner (ANP-C). A facial anti-aging expert, Lisa provides patients with numerous procedures that give natural-looking facial rejuvenation. Lisa and our team of aesthetic providers administer facial injectables such as Botox, Restylane, and Sculptra, in addition to laser skin treatments and non-surgical skin tightening in our three convenient locations in Scottsdale and Chandler, AZ. To provide patients with more options, we now also offer Silhouette Instalift by Thermi.

Is Silhouette Instalift safe?

The Silhouette Instalift has been FDA-cleared as a cosmetic anti-aging treatment. The sutures used in the procedure are the same as stitches used by doctors and nurses in hospitals and general practices to close wounds. This makes Instalift safe for most patients.

Who can get Silhouette Instalift treatments?

Patients aged 40-65 who have some facial sagging are the best candidates for Silhouette Instalift. However, patients with significant facial sagging may see better results with a surgical procedure. If you'd prefer to avoid surgery, a consultation with one of our providers to determine if a nonsurgical procedure is right for you is a good first step.

Who shouldn't get Silhouette Instalift?

If you are allergic or sensitive to biodegradable sutures, you should not receive Silhouette Instalift. If you have any skin infections, your provider will advise you to wait until the infection is fully cleared. In some cases, a patient with thin soft tissue in the treatment area will not see good results with Instalift, so the provider may recommend a different treatment method.

What areas can be treated with Silhouette Instalift?

Silhouette Instalift is intended for use in the mid-to-lower face in the cheek and jawline areas. This lifts the cheeks and jowls for a non-surgical facelift. Sutures can also be placed in the brow area for a brow lift and even in the neck to provide a non-surgical neck lift.

Where will my Silhouette Instalift be performed?

As Instalift is a non-surgical procedure, your treatment will be performed in one of our convenient aesthetics practice locations in Scottsdale or Chandler, AZ.

Is Silhouette Instalift painful? Will anesthesia be used?

Patients who received Instalift reported little-to-no discomfort during treatment due to the gentle, local numbing that is used prior to treatment. General anesthesia isn't used for Instalift, although a local anesthesia is administered prior to the procedure.

What are the potential side-effects of Silhouette Instalift?

Minimal swelling and bruising are the most common side-effects of the Silhouette Instalift, though that will subside during the days following your procedure. As we are implanting a foreign object into your skin, an allergic reaction may occur. If you have a history of allergic response to biodegradable sutures, you should not receive Instalift. Your provider will go over all of the common and less common side-effects and risks of treatment during your consultation and following your treatment.

How much does Silhouette Instalift cost?

Silhouette Instalift costs a fraction of surgical facelift procedures with no downtime. Scroll down to see our current pricing details.

Where can I see Silhouette Instalift before and after photos?

1Individual results may vary. 2All manufacturer claims, in regards to the benefits, process, length/effectiveness of treatments, how soon you'll see results or heal, or claims of minimal side effects such as minor redness or mild discomfort or no downtime, are provided by the pharmaceautical manufacturers as part of their guidelines in promoting their product and are backed by case studies/peer-reviewed publications and are published on their individual websites. 3Testimonials are the opinions of real clients that wanted to provide them and express their opinion to others. When written, the only editing done was to fix minor grammatical/syntax errors and/or to truncate extended testimonials that, while nice, went a bit long. Video testimonials are unedited. 4Treatments and services that are time-related (such as fees per a "20 minute session") are rooted in the fact that most appointments (i.e. the historical average amount of time required to complete most areas we treat) take that amount of time; however, it may be recommended or advised or necessary that more than one session time is required to achieve whatever affect you're looking for (such as someone wanting to treat many areas of their body vs someone simply wanting to treat their hands). A quick consultation in our office will provide you the exact time required to treat whatever you wish since treatment areas have a direct impact on time required to treat such areas. 5Superlatives, when describing services/products, are manufacturer claims and, in the end, it's your opinion as to what service/product is right/effective/best for you. 6Internal comparison claims comparing one technology to another (such as stating that a new product is x% better than the previous model, similar to how a 2018 model vehicle has many advances/improvements over a 2010 vehicle), when comparisons are done within the same company's lineup, are the manufacturer's statement-of-fact and reflect the latest science and/or breakthrough that, when released as a product, is the best/most effective at the time within their own product lineup — they are not claims comparing their product against other manufacturers' products. 7Videos, which we have chosen to add links to on our website, are either local television coverage pieces or third-party videos that we feel are great for learning and gaining an overview of the process of several services we offer; but third-party videos (e.g. those in the public domain, such as YouTube) in no way should be construed as an endorsement of Ultra Smooth Skin and/or our services specifically. They are meant as an awareness tool to help you decide upon common treatments provided by Ultra Smooth Skin and medspa providers nationwide. Some videos are produced by the pharmceutical manufacturers and others are by service providers, while still others are television appearances by Lisa Williams, the owner of Ultra Smooth Skin. 8Time is accurate as certain procedures have a fixed-length time of treatment per area. 9At our locations. 10Data on file at manufacturer.
