How the Silhouette Instalift Creates Instant Facelift Results
Silhouette Instalift provides non-surgical facelift results without injectable dermal fillers, Botox, lasers, and skin tightening procedures. So how does it work? Using a fine gauge needle, we insert a thread beneath the skin to lift and tighten for an instant facelift. Overtime, the thread also stimulates long-term collagen production, gradually improving your results. Your face will look fuller, lifted, and more youthful.
Gradual Collagen Growth Improves Results
After your instant facelift is complete, the Silhouette Instalift isn’t quite done. Beneath the surface, the sutures (threads) trigger new collagen growth. These sutures, made from poly glycolide L-lactide (PLGA), are absorbable, so you will not need to have them removed later. Instalift is FDA-cleared and made from materials frequently used in other medical devices, making it a safe choice for instant facelift results without surgery or injectables.
Instant Facelift Without Injectable Fillers or Botox
Most of our non-surgical facelift procedures involve injectable anti-aging products, including:
- Botox and Botox alternatives Dysport and Xeomin
- Hyaluronic Acid (HA) Fillers, such as Restylane
- Non-HA Fillers, such as Sculptra Aesthetic
While these injectables are very useful and effective in giving patients a liquid facelift, some people aren’t able to manage the repeated treatments necessary to maintain results. Furthermore, some patients aren’t good candidates for Botox and fillers. Others have tried these injectables and haven’t quite seen the results they hoped for, as no procedure is right for all patients.
How Long Does an Instant Facelift Procedure Take Using Silhouette Instalift?
You can expect your appointment to last roughly 45 minutes from consultation to treatment. During the consultation portion of your appointment, we will evaluate your medical history, current health, and your skin. We will discuss your goals and expectations. If we determine that the Instalift is right for you, we will proceed with treatment. We will explain where the sutures will be placed, mark the treatment areas with a pen, and numb the treatment area using a local anesthetic.
Following your appointment, we will provide you with aftercare instructions. Note that you may have some swelling, bruising, and minor pain as the result of treatment. This will subside over a few days. Many patients come to see us on Friday for their instant facelift treatment and return to work on Monday with no issues.
Other Options for Instant Facelift Results
An instant facelift, especially to see results without facial plastic surgery, is hard to come by. Even the best non-surgical cosmetic treatments cannot promise immediate results. This makes Silhouette Instalift a rare gem. You can, however, see immediate benefits from other anti-aging treatments. For example, Juvederm Voluma, a robust hyaluronic acid dermal filler, is a mid-face volumizer that gently lifts the lower face (jowls) as it plumps up the cheek area. It provides immediate results and lasts up to two years. Other injectable fillers can provide what we call a “liquid facelift,” and work by filling in hollow areas of the face, restoring youthful volume and lifting sagging skin upward.
You don’t require a needle poke to see facial anti-aging results, however. Thermage is a very popular skin tightening treatment that uses radiofrequency technology to gently lift and tighten skin on the face, neck, and elsewhere on the body. If injectables or the Silhouette Instalift aren’t right for you, Thermage could provide you with excellent results.
Of course, non-surgical treatments aren’t for everyone. If you have more prominent facial sagging, we may recommend that you see a plastic surgeon or facial plastic surgeon for a surgical facelift consultation.
